The Construction Technical Research Of SBS Modified Asphalt Concrete Pavement Of Tong-shen Highway

Since the beginning of the Reforming and Openning,our country has made great accomplishment,and the economic development has made remarkable achievements.In order to implement the principles of economic construction better, China has made a lot of input in traffic.Tong Shen Highway is the seventh horizontal part of the planning of the "five vertical and eight horizontal and two rings, ten together" of the "revitalizing the northeast old industrial base in highway and waterway transport development program" of the national Traffic Ministry.It is in the seventh horizontal part of the eastern part of China's Northeast regional transportation, but also the first highway in the mountains southeast of Jilin Province.The access of the highwayThe opening of the highway shortens half-hour drive from Tonghua to Shenyang.Tonghua which is among mountains has an"open access". Its operation will greatly reduce the temporal and spatial distance between Economic Circle of Tonghua and Shenyang and the Bohai Economic Circle,and it's the end of history of the Tonghua area without highways.It also shows that the significant progress of regional transport center in Tonghua has beem made.Meanwhile, the rapid development of economic has made great challenge to the traditional asphalt roads. In this paper, according to the Tong Shenyang Expressway project on the application of SBS modified asphalt, analysis the type of modified asphalt and study the principles of selection modifier. Finally, analysis the rationality and necessity of options selecting SBS modified asphalt in the Tong Shenyang Expressway.In this paper, according to the Tong Shen Highway project on the application of SBS modified asphalt,the type of modified asphalt and pavement performance are analyzed,and the principles of selection modifier are studied.Finally,the analysis on the rationality and necessity of options selecting SBS modified asphalt in the Tong Shen Highway is done.Furthermore,how to reach the best quality by the means of construction technology control is discussed.Construction quality of the highways has direct relationship to the service life.Therefore,the construction technology of Tong Shen Highway Ji Lin section is studied respectively.Firstly,the type of the modifier is analyzed,and selection principle of modifier is studied.The main purpose of using the modifier is to improve or enhance the performance of asphalt pavement. Performance of modified asphalt will be improved to varying degrees with different modifiers or the same kind of modifier with different doses.Because different types of modified asphalt has significant difference between the index itself, the standard modifier is not the same.Specifically, for the region with high temperatures throughout the year and hot weather,the focus is on improving high temperature stability of the road, so using SBS, PE, EVA and other modifiers can be modified to achieve better results[1]; While for the North,etc. low-temperature cold area, the focus is on improving the road surface at low temperature crack resistance, the use of SBS, SBR and other modifiers can be modified to achieve better results. As different types of modifiers are not required for the same processing conditions, so processing conditions of construction site should be taken into account,when chossing modifier and modification for the actual situation of projects.According to the natural, geographical, climatic and environmental characteristics of Tong Shen highway project site,it can determine the climate zone of the project is located in cold winter areas 2-2;At the same time,Tong Shen Highway should strongly consider the ability of resistance to pro-permanent deformation such as rutting and package[2]; What's more,the equipment for asphalt processing used in construction site of Tong Shen highway is relatively matching,and the technology is relatively mature, so SBS modifier is used to produce SBS modified asphalt concrete pavement[3].Secondly,analysis of various impact factors of SBS modified asphalt, such as high temperature stability, low temperature cracking resistance[4], aging resistance, and modified asphalt pavement roughness are made.And combined with the courses of Tong Shen Highway project such as material selection, construction machinery equipment, construction technology process control and quality inspection,how to make the correct selection and reasonable construction in projuects,combined with the project itself.Thirdly, the storage, mixing, transport, paving and other sectors of SBS modified asphalt mixture are intruduced in Tong Shen highway construction.And how to improve the performance of modified asphalt pavement,by using construction process control during each link,is studied.The test is made to asphalt pavement after completion,and results are also analyzed.After the operation of the Tong Shen Highway,with almost two years'observation,the pavement condition is well.It proves that the construction technology used is feasible in northeast china.
