The disadvantages of Scheduled Maintenance in hydropower plant have been recognized, and this mechanism needs to be reformed gradually to Condition-Based Maintenance mechanism, especially in a company with the goal of maximizing the economic benefits. Remote monitoring and analysis system for the hydropower plant will provide a good platform for Condition-Based Maintenance.Based on a comprehensive analysis of remote monitoring technology, this paper describe the advantages and disadvantages of B/S model and C/S model first, then put forward the RIA model of remote monitoring for hydropower plant. After determine the monitoring content of hydropower generating units, according to the actual condition of hydropower plant, we sum up three means to acquire data from hydropower generating units: get from control system and monitoring system, acquire from sensor and manual collection. Then introduce the methods of analyzing in detail which include Performance Evaluation, Equipment Analysis and Trend Analysis with some practical examples.This paper describes the framework of the remote monitoring and analysis system for hydropower plant, including network structure and function structure. Then choose the hardware equipments, software development environment, determine the implementation approach and introduce the application state of Hydropower Optimal Maintenance Information System (HOMIS) in China Yangtze Power Co.,ltd.(CYPC) .At last this paper is summarized and looks forward the further research work to be developed.HOMIS brings up a new way of thinking and working for hydropower plant, and will guide the maintenance work. |
