For the purpose of realizing condition based maintenance in hydro power plants, the equipments'conditions should be automatically monitored and diagnosed to help to make proper maintenance decisions. The operations of the important equipment for Hydro Turbine Governor System have direct influences on correct running of generators and voltage stability of the power system. The automatic monitoring and Performance analysis of Hydro Turbine Governor will not only improve the availability of maintenance but also enhance the reliability of power system. It provides the technique foundation of hydro power plant's condition based maintenance.After summarizing the condition classification and condition analysis of Hydro Turbine Governor System, this paper employs the approaches and the analysis to the performance measurement of Hydro Turbine Governor System to reach the requirements of condition based maintenance. The research work mainly focuses on two aspects:1. The process of summarizing and absorbing knowledge and experience of Hydro Turbine Governor System from the field experts begins with a hierarchical layer designing according to the actual structure. The performance standards and parameters of Hydro Turbine Governor System functions are listed. And then the approaches and the analysis to the performance measurement of Hydro Turbine Governor System are discussed2. After discussing the process of the data and the performance analysis, a report about the requirements of condition based maintenance and the performance analysis is given. The framework of the Performance Analysis System is also presented.This paper is based on the program Condition Monitoring and Diagnosis System of Governors, which is a subsystem of the Hydro Power Plant Optimal Maintenance Information System cooperated with the Gezhouba Hydropower Plant of China Yangtze Power Co. Ltd. A system is brought forward,which construct with the condition monitoring and the performance analysis. The field application results have demonstrated that the methods are feasible. |
