Research And Development Of Automatic Ammeter Reading System

With the development of electron and computer, automatic meter reading system (AMRS ) has a possibility to be put into reality. Especially for the well-to-do uptown, the Construct Department of China has demanded to realize integrate management of kilowatt-hour meter step by step, gradually to realize automatic meter reading , measuring and charging with computer. This article aims at the existing problems, such as independent charging for the above meters, bad real-timing measured data, low efficiency, inaccuracy and so on. Thus, I designed an automatic meter reading system of calorie. The strong point of this system is: lows cost, precise measuring, stable working, and easy to install and maintain.The article gives an all-round design of this system. It expatiates on detail designs of data capturing and collecting, data communication network and mode. In this thesis , about the hardware , a particular explanation of the choice of CPU,inspect circuit,data memory etc were given .And it uses asynchronous serial communication technology based on RS-485 electric interface as communication means. The process of sending data frames are analyzed and communication protocol was made. The software ,we give the program of impulse collection,communication,display etc .At the same time ,the article used SQL Server technology and Visual C++ program language to design the remote reading management software system .In the first chapter the paper introduces the background of electricity power management system and some knowledge of power line communication technology. The second chapter expounds the idea of system design. The hardware is introduced in the third chapter. The chapter four narrated the system lower position machine software design as well as sub-module flow chart. The chapter five makes the explanation to on position machine software design.AMRS realized the remote meter reading of calorie, it will boost the automatic meter reading efficiently. The paper hopes to prove some helpful experiences for relative works through explore the electric power management system and it has an enormous application prospect.
