As the construction and development of Passenger Dedicated Lines and urban track traffic, and with the limitation of environmental protection, orographic and geological conditions, some switches should be totally or partly laid on bridge, major bridge or viaduct. For example, Zhengzhou-Xi'an Passenger Dedicated Line must adopt the scheme that station is on viaduct.In this paper, we aim at the widely used ballastless track on bridge in Passenger Dedicated Lines, and we do main research on method for calculating the spatial mechanical characteristics of welded switches for ballastless track on the bridge. The method used in this study is known as Finite Element Method, and research has been carried out in detail on spatial mechanical properties of No. 18 movable-point single switch and single crossover for ballastless track on bridge in Passenger Dedicated Lines. The main contents and results of this thesis are listed as follows:1) Based on the finite element analysis software ANSYS, a method is established for calculating the spatial mechanical characteristics of welded switches on bridge, a program is also compiled for calculating the spatial mechanical characteristics of welded switches on bridge.2) According to an actual project, the spatial mechanical characteristics of No. 18 movable-point single crossover for ballastless track on bridge in Passenger Dedicated Lines are calculated, under both the temperature load and the live load of the train respectively, especially the lateral deformation of the welded switches rail under the temperature load.3) Influencing factors of the mechanical characteristic of single crossover for ballastless track on bridge in Passenger Dedicated Lines is analyzed, such as bridge type, sedimentation of bridge pier, flexural rigidity of bridge cross-section, span of bridge, relative position of switches and bridge, and so on.4) The regularities and conclusion on the spatial mechanical characteristics of single crossover for ballastless track on bridge is obtained in this paper, proposals for the design, laying and maintenance of single crossover for ballastless track on the Passenger Dedicated Lines bridge are also put forward.
