Computer Aided Architecture Design (brief name is CAAD) refers to application that CAD been used in the aspects of architecture, it brought for the architecture design many advantages. But for the nonce, the use of CAD in architecture design is not beyond a kind of "electronic painting or calculating tool". The plan design is still depend on the traditional method.This item is a kind of 2d residential housing design software in architecture design. It serves professional designers in the fields of architecture or urban design. The objective is to made computer do some simple design, trying to made the process of design easier. And we can quest for more prospects of CAAD in architecture design.In the process of uptown design, different exterior conditions require different house plans. This task put forward an idea to develop a kind of software which made computer do some automatic work for house plan. The aim of the system is offering acceptable plans when the designer inputs some particular data.The key to computer aimed design conceives consisting in turning the nebulous and emanative design rules into a type of logic rules can be used by computer. In the second part of this dissertation, we have done some careful researches of the elements in house plan combination and their relation; try to make the nebulous and emanative design rules systematically. And then set up a type of rules for the software programming, which made up by Room Libraries, Stair Enclosure Libraries and the splice rule between them.Beyond the rules, we develop a set of software which could offer flats when designers give some particular condition. Experimental result substantiate the idea of making computer aimed house design automatically is doable. As the system configuration optimizing and the system efficiency improving, this software could make considerable help in the field of design efficiency and quality.In the process of exporting plans, a set of rules for filtrating input data and selecting output results is prerequisite. We have analyzed the input data range for seven dialog boxes in system Interface, and drawn a conclusion about it through calculating and examples. Then we developed the checkout rules and the best plan select rules. First the system will remove the typical floors with overlapping rooms, than remove some other typical floors by functional rules. In the left plans, keep removing them by some other rules until there is a best plan left.Now the situation shows this system is viable. Some analogous system can be used in wider area. In the aspect of cost, it just needs primary program technique and lesser-labor with a perfect requirement report.
