Research On Techology Of Carpentry Work Of The Vernacular Architecture Of Wenzhou

Chinese traditional culture is a large sprit treasury, The study and analysis of Chinese traditional architecture by Liu Dunzhen and Liang Sicheng is the inchoation of the research, thereafter, many scholars make great efforts to that and gain a lot of achievement. From the 80s of the last century, the research emphases of the traditional architecture turns to vernacular architecture, and takes that of wood construction as a dominant one, it presents two development trends, namely, regionalization and technicalization. Based on such a background, this article attempt to do a preliminary discussion of the vernacular architecture technology of Wenzhou.Wenzhou is belongs to Ouyue, it has a long history and splendid culture, based on that, the architectural construction has made the huge achievement whether on the art or on the technical. Up to now, the main parts of the research on the traditional architecture of Wenzhou are local culture and architectural art, the research on the technology is less and scattered. Base on such a realistic situation, the author surveying and mapping the vernacular architecture of Wenzhou, and summarize and discussed the characteristics of the carpentry work of the vernacular architecture of Wenzhou.This article focuses on the depiction of the characteristics of the carpentry work, and discussed the origin and development and background and the features of the carpentry work, these contents are based on the practical investigation. On the one hand, this article is a supplement of the local traditional architecture research; on the other hand, it is a record and preservation of the carpentry work that will be vanished, and it can provide some support on technology of the architecture conversation work. Finally, this article want to give the subsequent researcher some useful material.
