As the control center of the whole ordnance ammunition system, initiation system is response for the safety of warhead at the normal, as while as arm and initiate the warhead at the battle with high reliability.With the development of weaponry and modern war, higher requirments have been put to ordance's size, weight, low power consumption so as to low-power-iput and high-performance-output integrated circuits. For the weaponary aiming in highly destruction effiencency and long-range attack acurrancy, higher safety, accuracy, reliabilities and configurabilities are required with consideration to their relativly adverse operation environments.On the basis of these requirments, this paper developed a new kind of integrated ordnance initiation system architecture on the basis of the WizOrd? Intelligent Initiation System, a Patent product of Ensign-Bickford Aerospace & Defense Company, USA. The construct of key protocol and processing flow made reference to the structure of MIL-STD-1553b and many other military and industrial field buses. The main control units of system construct blocks had been implement and verified on the selected FPGA develop platform. The prototype system also passed the system level function and precision tests and got desirable results in communication functionalities and critical response time specifications.
