The research of the applications of distributed technology and network manufacturing has been very active at home and abroad these days, and the distributed network manufacturing is a hotspot. To achieve the information sharing of application systems in enterprise or inter-enterprises under distributed environment, as well as the compatibility with the original system is a very difficult problem. Therefore the purpose of developing a system based on CORBA specification is to achieve the sharing of information and resource software in enterprise or inter-enterprises, and access CAD, CAPP, and other applications expediently.Based on the analysis of network manufacturing platform's research status and development tendency, the paper established the network manufacturing platform according to the function needed and the existing technical support. The platform consists of software system and function system. The software system includes four parts: user interface, server interface, application service group and data services group. The function system includes basic services and extended functions. Message Oriented Middleware (MOM) XmlBlaster is selected as the core of the platform. The author discusses the key technology of using MOM to solve network manufacturing, as well as the analysis and design of MOM, which is based on the overall constitution of the platform's integration model. First we established a model framework for MOM, which can better solve the issues of isomerism, distributed information exchange and integration issues in the network manufacturing, then the function of the MOM is designed, and an anti-fault reconnecting mode is also proposed for the reliability and stability of message. This dissertation also introduced how to define the services of different systems in various interface encapsulations with IDL. So that the CAD and CAPP could be secondarily developed by C++ programming language in order to unify the transfer format. After that several ways to transform the files needed in CAD, CAPP, and PDM into XML format are also discussed. With the DOM, SAX and XPATH (XML Path Language) , the necessary information can be obtained by filtering the XML files received. Finally, the rationality and practicality of the structure for the software are verified according to the application of the network manufacturing integrated platform. Moreover, the research has laid a solid foundation for the full implementation of network manufacturing, which has a broad market prospects.
