With the development of transportation construction , the steel box arch bridges develop rapidly while the study on steel box arch bridges is relatively behind the engineering practice in recent years. At present, the method of cable hoisting-the slanting pulls the buckle and hang method is one of the most commonly used as a construction method , and the steel box arch bridges using this method are developing with the span towards greater and larger in the scale. Therefore , it has great theoretical significance and projects value to analyse the factors of construction control and hoisting affecting the accuracy of the steel box arch bridge which were constructed by the slanting pulls the buckle and hang method.Regarding to the characteristics of steel box arch bridge construction which used the slanting pulls the buckle and hang method, this paper studied on the calculation methods of steel box arch bridge construction control ,and analysed the various factors on the accuracy of hoisting . The main content as follows:1. This paper expounded advantages and disadvantages of various theories on hoisting calculation .Studied the calculating ideas and steps of the finite element method on the basis of the existing research results. Taking Liuyang River Bridge of Changsha city for engineering background, the paper calculated buckling cable force and segnental pre-camber; and resolved the key problem in the process of steel box arch bridge construction , verified the reliability and practicality of the finite element method, also provided scientific basis for the steel box arch bridge construction control calculation method.2. In order to ensure the state of security and internal forces of good arch rib linear in the process of lifting , the paper analysed the various factors affecting the accuracy of the lifting and took a number of corresponding measures to deal with.3. In order to further analysis of the design parameters error affecting the accuracy of lifting , this paper selected the cable sag effect and temperature effect to probe into, and drawn some meaningful conclusions by contrasting the result of theoretical analysis with the experimental results, accurately forecasted the changes of segment height mark, which provided a safe and effective guarantee for successfully closuring of the Liuyang River Bridge ,the paper successfully resolved the closure of high-precision problem of the Liuyang River Bridge.
