With the development of economic construction and urbanization in our country, the contradiction between the proliferation of motor vehicles and the strain from city road construction has been gradually apparent. As a speedy and convenient public traffic tool underground, subway will become one of the most efficient approaches to solve the city traffic jam.Subway operation will consume too much energy and expenditure. The realization of operating with low energy consumption is one of the leading goals in the operation process. As an important system in subway, Building Automation System (BAS) has high energy consumption which account for the most proportion of the total energy consumption. BAS energy saving is one of the most important research fields in subway project. The BAS automatic control will solve the problems of energy waste which occur under the manual control. The BAS on-line operation and optimization with lower energy consumption will impact the total efficiency of subway energy saving.This thesis takes a real subway project, Nanjing Subway Line 1, as the main research object. According to the demands of BAS installing, debugging and maintaining, the main tasks of this thesis will be done on the real practice platform provided by Nanjing subway owner and BAS contractor. Some efficient approaches of energy saving will be used in Nanjing Subway Line 1, including the all-year station temperature control criteria, variable frequency fans, optimized ventilation or cooling modes and etc. The real operation data of BAS will be recorded and the all-year energy consumption of BAS will also be calculated.The research works and conclusions in this thesis could be a reference in the fields of BAS design and operation for other subway projects in our country.
