Improved AHP And Its Aplications To Optimization Of Urban Water Schemes

As a common evaluation method, AHP has some problems in itself. The major problem in practical application is how to examine and correct the consistence of judgment matrix. In order to improve the consistence of the judgment matrix, a new method (IAHP) was put forward on the basis of Acclerating Genetic Algorithm, which can correct the consistence and determine the weights of judgment matrix at the same time.Theoretical analysis and considerable examples proved that this improved method is comparatively directly perceived and convenient. As it makes full use of the original judgment matrix, the calculating results are more reliable and stable. This new method was applied to optimization of urban water schemes, which can offer a dependable principal for decision-maker.
