The vacuum toilet of coach which has studied by department of environmental engineering of HUST depends on vacuum power to inhale and collect the wastewater, and it uses less water and is hard to be jammed. The whole system is sealed, it won't make the feculent odor overflow and pollute the environment. It is the late environmental protection product. Practically, the production of vacuum toilet, which has been produced in batch, works well and welcomed by user.Standardization on the coach vacuum toilet is good for perfecting the product structure, improving the product performance, reducing the workload of design and manufacture, shortening the cycle and advancing the producing efficiency etc. And it also can provide interface for other kinds of outsourcing products, and improve the general and interchange of product.This paper introduced the system characteristic, working theory and progress of coach vacuum toilet. According to the standardization theory and principle, this paper mainly researched the standardization of bus vacuum toilet and its important parts, and put forward the system technique requirement, such as (1) sanitation index shouldn't be lower than the first-rank standard, and accord with related regulation of GB/T 17217, (2) the vacuum value of collection tank should be contained between 0.03 and 0.05 MPa, (3) the water wastage should be less than 0.8 L per time, (4) the air pressure in supercharger should be contained between 0.2 and 0.3 MPa, (5) the working noise should be less than 85 dB(A), (6) the electronic equipment could endure the vibration in frequency between 1 and 100 Hz, (7) the parts of mechanism equipment should endure certain impact, (8) the shell of the toilet should accord with man-machine engineering, (9) the tie-in of pipe should be sealed, (10) the working life shouldn't be lower than 5 years.The paper demonstrated important technique parameter and standardization through experiment, calculation and reference information. At the same time, the paper also did the primary standardization with the key parts of pneumatic and hydranlic circuit system that are collation tank, water tank and supercharger, optimized the pneumatic and hydranlic circuit system, provided the material, structure size and performance requirement of each pivotal parts, and gave the explanation of related standardization.The paper provided the expectation of vacuum drive for coach vacuum toilet, hopes to develop a home made vacuum pump which is similar to Norway self-sucking vacuum pump that can substitute the present power system mode of DC electromotor, vacuum pump and circle water tank.
