The geometrical position matching relationship for Human-Machine Interface (HMI) in a mechanical system is a key problem for ergonomics design in mechanical system, and this problem hasn't been solved completely yet for many years. The progress of basic research and the rapid development of computer technology offer conditions for solving this complex problem. Based on ergonomics theory, some useful researches on HMI of mechanical system and relevant questions have been done in this paper. The basic theory of ergonomics and the study of human body measurement are applied to the ergonomics design of machinery and mechanical structures and the design case for external shields of a machine, a certain achievement has been obtained during the process of designing. At the same time, an effective experiment in three-dimensional dynamic demonstration system for mechanical equipments is conducted, it benefits representing the state and process of running or working of the prototype vividly before which is putted into production, and also makes references for the following design of actual mechanical equipments.Firstly, this paper elaborates the basic types and the Characteristics and Changes of recent development of HMI design of mechanical system; gives out the principles of HMI designing for mechanical system; specifies the Composition of Human Body Data and the selection of human size percentages which are discussed provides methods and basis for HMI design of mechanical equipments.Secondly, based on the molding design of pin-straightening for plastics-sealed diodes (a new special equipment), according to the selection of human size percentages and modificative values, some HMI parameter values are setted, such as the position of the display equipments for mechanical system, the position of observing window and its minimum size, the position of door handles as well as the matching position of control panel, they offer beneficial reference for the rational design of HMI design in mechanical system. According to the principles of the external shield design for mechanical equipment, shield design of pin-straightening machine for plastics-sealed diodes has been conducted by means of virtual design, and the above principles and implementation methods are better applied in this application case.Supported by National Science and Technology planning Projects in the Eleventh Five-year Plan Period(The study on High-Pressure Roller Grinding Technology of Ironstone Crushing and development of its devices), the design and implement of 3D dynamic demonstration system of High Pressure Grinding Roller was studied in the charpter four: including the study of methods in model "data conversion, design and realization of demonstration system of dynamic etc. Based on the graphic interchange mechanism between different CAD softwares or kernels, the difference of data storage formats and its influence on data conversion are elaborated. The problems of 3D-Model data exchanging and its precision control have been solved in the making of the demonstration system through a rational selection of data transfer methods and parameter setting. Then, some constructive proposals on the design and implementation methods of the whole demonstration system are presented in the end.
