This article aims at the actual problem which exists in the production of the DS of the faw-volkswagen JETTA's DS clutch which have been made in our country. Revise the international popular Almen-Laszlo formula (i.e. A-L formula) for the DS at present in this article. The mean while, optimize and design the structural parameter of the type DSP210J's DS.Gathered a great deal of correlative data of DS of the DSP210J to carry on the spring characteristic curve fitting from YIDONG co.ltd. Contrast the curve of the load–deformation between the actual and theory at outer fulcrum. Analyse any factor who works on the characteristic curve, then make sure where can the coefficient put in the revised formula and how many would accede to in the original therory formula (A-L formula). And obtained the more accurate correction coefficient passed through a massive of research and analysis. Povide the more scientific reasonable theoretical calculation formula for designing of the JETTA's DS clutch which have been made in our country.Optimize and design structural parameter of the DSP210J's DS. Analysis the results of the optimization design, through the fatigue life expriment and characteristic expriment for DS's trial-manufacturing after optimization, show that the life of the trail-manufacturing have been improved, moreover the elasticity weakens in the request scope—10%. They have realized that the DSP210J's DS design and produce in our country.Further study the relations between the revised coefficient and the DS's structure parameter in the revised formula. For other type clutch DS's design and calucation, only to input spring's structure parameter, then calculate out the relative revised coefficient,.we can obtain this type DS's theory calculation formula. So it can enormously simplify the calculation of every type clutch DS. It's truly that realize the standardization in the company, make the series of DSP in DS get rid of only depend on experience and trail-manufacturing. Through experiment on the trail-manufacuturing after the optimization design shows that it can improve the production efficiency and reduce the numbers of trail-manufacturing.Summarily,the revised theory calculation formalu of the JETTA's DS clutch which have been made in our country is in reason and feasible, so it's great significance for the clutch DS's manufacture in China.
