Design Of Remote Video Monitoring Of Power System Based On IP Multicast

Remote video monitoring of power system is also named as remote watching of power system, it is a very important part of unattended substation and an essential supplement for the remote control, adjustment, measurement and signal. It gains more and more attention. The proposed scheme of the thesis has some important significance to the development of power system and automation.In the thesis, problem of real-time performance and Qos of video transmission are addressed comprehensively. We set focus on resolving transmission protocol, through comparing TCP,UDP,RTP and RTCP and aiming at the characteristic of digital video monitoring system than many users would share video information in the same time, we designed two communication channels and choose different protocols, and then achieved by applying visual programming technology. In the thesis ,we emphasis on the IP multicast,software design and we also gave the resolving projects such as net structure hardware composing and choosing which network protocols.
