A remote real-time monitoring prototype system for new energyautomobile not only strengthens existied system’s functions and holds itsreliability and data integrity, but also improves its real-time performance ofremote communication. This system can enhance safety of new energyautomobile and supply source data for related research. At the same time, itmakes a consistent development platform which can support for relatedapplication of vehicle networks.Based on the trace to previous new energy automotive real-timemonitoring system and the brief introduction to Telematics, The paperfirstly studys system’s CAN communication and remote communicationscheme; secondly proposes its total design requirements and architecturebased on the Local Standard of Shanghai using system mothod and thenstudys the hardware and software scheme of vehicle terminal usingstructural mothod, respectively; finally, designs a simulated system to testthe performance of prototype system’s remote communication.At the beginning of total design stage, proposes one very open systemarchitecture and then specificly designs and describes the functions andbehaviors of vehicle terminal and self-designed remote communicationprotocol (RCP). High speed CAN based on SAE J1939protocol as thecommunication interface to vehicle control network and mobile networkbased on CDMA2000EVDO as remote interface are used in this paper.In the design of vehicle terminal, using the hardware solution basedon MCU (STM32), designs modular circuits fulfilling its functions indetail. In the software design stage, firstly proposes an architecture which has the characteristics of distinct layers and openning using softwaresolution based on RTOS (μC/OS-II) and then designs and realizes itsbasical modules using object orientied design (OOD) mothod; finally,develops its application software specificly.The test data demonstrate that the prototype system designed in thispaper has excellent data integrity and improves real-time performance ofexistied system’s remote communication.
