The paper focuses on the optimization designing and application of the coordinated control system (CCS). Firstly, the development status of CCS is summarized systematically, and then a typical multivariable nonlinear model of the boiler-turbine unit is introduced and analyzed. Secondly, the structure of Direct Energy Balance CCS is introduced in detail, and then the energy demand and heat release are discussed. Thirdly, an optimization structure of DEB CCS is presented with a dynamic feed-forward element, and then the characteristics and parameters relationship of feed-forward are researched. Finally, Aiming at a 330MW boiler-turbine unit, a scheme of CCS is given; and the scheme is configured with SIEMENS Teleperm XP. Now, the new optimization scheme in this paper has been put into service successfully. Furthermore, the automatic generating control (AGC) mode for the power net can be realized accordingly.
