| The automatic stereo garage is a modern device into which mechanism, automatic control technology and the computer technology are integrated. It is an effective method to realize automation of material flow hanling. Development of appropriate stereo garage is effective path to resolve parking question when the number of cars are getting bigger and bigger ,the parking problem is getting more serious in our country . In recent years ,our country has learned some experience and solution to solve the parking problem from the overseas , also started to construct the stereo garage in each big city .the automation stereo garage has many type. vertical-horizontal moving type garage, the elevator type garage and the stowed stereoscopic garage are the most widespread types. This paper introduced the technology , the history and the present situation of the automatic stereo garage, and introduced the backgroud with significance of the research subject. This paper proposed one kind of new style stereo garage——Hanging basket type stereo garage system based on system research, is also meaningful attempt and practice in stereo garage field. The main research content of this paper is as follows:1. has carried on the exhaustive introduction and the analysis to each kind of popular stereo garage, and quantificational analyzed similarities and differences of several kind of popular stereo garage , and analyzed and contrasted main performance of these kinds of garage .2. has proven feasibility of the hanging basket type stereo garage, and optimized the stereo garage design proposal from many aspects.3. introduced and realized software and hardware designs of stereo garage in detail.
