The Digital Oscilloscope has perfect functions, higher indicators.How to ensure its accuracy in accordance with the law,is of great significance to guarantee the effectiveness of search and production test data.There are two problems need to be solved:First, according to the characteristics of Digital Oscilloscope and measured technical parameters, how to select the test items, formulate an appropriate detection method, evaluate the Digital Oscilloscop with a unified method of evaluation, so can make it horizontal comparability,those all need to be further explorationed and studied; The second is how to present digital oscilloscope for the detection, by the complexity of the manual upgraded to automatically detect. The main thesis is as follows:This paper discuss the detection technologies of several kinds of Digital Oscilloscope measurement parameters,develop an appropriate test / calibration experimental method, particularly explore and study the detection method of Digital Sampling Oscilloscopes which have not been discussed yet in the field. Assess the performance of Digital Oscilloscope features by using the automatic parameters function which belongs to the Oscilloscope be measured. use GPIB interface bus, and other common interface technology, combine multiple machines into automatic detection system, use VB6.0 database technology to design the approval procedure for digital oscilloscope, construct the automatic detection module, make the system complete calibration tasks of the several Digital Oscilloscope efficiently and neatly, cover the existing bandwidth of 10 MHz ~ 2.1 GHz various models of Digital Oscilloscope, adapt it to the detection work of Digital Oscilloscope measurements.This paper explore some detection technologies of the Digital Oscilloscope. propose the analysis method which has a certain universal significance. The research can be used in the electronics industry, research institutions and measures testing technology departments to ensure the digital oscilloscope day-to-day work of the calibration measurement accuracy, consistency and traceability. This also provide technical basis for the productive sector to meet the majority of users of digital oscilloscope calibration requirements, in order to strengthen the unified management of digital oscilloscope, digital oscilloscope on the quality control process and improve product quality produce reliable and accurate information to offer technical support.The discussion of Digital Oscilloscope detection methods, development of automatic detection system, can solve the the problem of broadband which high accuracy Digital Oscilloscope could not test before,also can change the current the status that Digital Oscilloscope detection would cost long hours with low efficiency and cumbersome operation , use computer to complete the manual operation and operational testing work. Implement automated detection is an effective way to reduce testing and calibration test costs ,enhance efficiency and reduce the impact of human factors,that makes the Oscilloscope measures towards the automated detection technology, has a broad prospect. The system design also has reference value for other similar measurement system.
