The traffic safety condition is becoming increasinglyserious in recent years. The trafficaccidents have become a worldwide problem, which make great lost to the families andcountry. The statistic shows that the accidents resulted from Rear-end Collision are in themajorityamongtheaccidentsinexpressway.ThestatisticshowsthattheRear-endCollisionisof the majority in all expressway accidents. Therefore it becomes an urgent necessity todevelopahigh-performancedCollisionWarningSystem.This dissertation conducts both the dynamic and kinematic analysis of the automobilebraking process. Referring to many research fruits in automobile anti-collision of the world,thedissertationestablishesasimpleandapplicablemodelofanti-collisionalarmsystembasedon the automobile's movement status. By analyzing the cause of Rear-end Collision, thedissertation put forward the system requirements and then designs scheme. The whole systemconsists ofvarious sensors,datacollectioncircuit,alarmingcircuit ofsoundandlight,displaycircuitofLCDscreen.Thehigh-poweredchip-S3C44B0X ,asthecentralprocessingunit,is used to control all the circuits for improving real-time character of the system. Thisdissertation also analyzes and compares the sensors, then complete the hardware system. Thesystem software is programmed with C and assembly language and debug on the hardware.Accordingtheenvironmentoftheautomobile,manyeffectivemeasuresfromthesoftwareandhardware are adopted to enhance the reliabilityof the system. At last, experiments are carriedout on the Collision Warning System and it is confirmed that the system basically meets thedesignrequirements.
