| In these years, with the development of power electronic technology, more and more nonlinear loads are widely used in chemical industry, metallurgy, power transmission, electric railway industries, and home appliances. A large number of voltage fluctuations, transient interference, harmonics and other electrical signal exist in the power system and cause the voltage and current waveform distortion. Therefore, the detection of power quality disturbance has become a hot research spot, precise measurement of power quality parameters is very helpful to better understand the power network condition, and to ensure smooth and safe operation of power system.This thesis designed a dual-core processor architecture power quality measurement system based on ARM and DSP. The modular design reduces the system design effort, provides good scalability, and it is easy to upgrade and maintenance. This system can be divided into two units, operation processing unit and control communication unit. The operation processing unit using TI's high-precision 6-channel 16-bit ADC sampling chip ADS8556, it is high accuracy, capture the analog signal into a digital signal rapidly, and send it to the DSP Processing chip. Operation processing unit core chip is the TI's DSP chip TMS320VC5402, it has a faster computing capabilities, and a convenient communication interface to the system control communication unit for data transmission. In the system control communication unit, NXP's LPC2138 is selected as the core processor chips, it can be divided into display unit, SD card, removable storage unit, the serial unit and other sub-modules.Test results of the measurement system shows that, this system can work normally, achieving the desired design goals. |
