Study On Electric Bicycle's Traffic Safety Related Problems And Management

With the rapid development of national economy, there is an increased demand for trip. Electric bicycles' volume increased year by year because of its high speed, low prices and less energy consumption. But, everything has two sides. Though electric bicycle have brought so many facility, it also brought many inconvenient such as excessive speed, too heavy, battery pollution for environmental. Therefore, it is every meaningful for studying the electric bicycles' safety character and traffic management.Firstly this paper analyses the development of the electric bicycles, electric bicycle accidents' causes and effect and the mechanical characteristics of electric bicycles. Through the analysis of electric bicycle speed, weight, frame, and then this paper made further study using the collision theory and traffic conflicts technique(TCT). We can know exactly about the electric bicycle traffic development status from the analysis of abroad traffic structure evolution. Electric bicycle is a changing sign for transportation changing to mobility gradually. Based on that, we proposed the classification method for electrical bicycle. And it belongs to non-motor vehicles and motor vehicles. At the same time, this paper proposed the fundamental resolution for solving electrical bicycle's problems. That is to say transform the individual travel mode to the public transport mode gradually.This paper proposed corresponding measures for the management of electrically bicycle. It is extremely meaningful for solving electrically bicycle's management. Besides that, it also has the realistic guiding for future development.
