Component software development is an advanced software development technique. Component-based FEM analyze systems have great performance in model reusing, which makes analysis process much simpler. This paper mainly discusses the application of Component technique in FEM analyze system development.Bulb tubular-turbine generator is one kind of hydro-generator which is widely adopted recent years. Due to its bulkiness and complexity, bulb tubular-turbine generator is considered as a typical complex machine. Guided by the needs of FEM analysis in product development, the paper discussed the theories and implement of FEM analysis of Bulb tubular-turbine generator. Following aspects are covered:1. Methods to decompose and recompose the design are necessary for a FEM analysis. Based on the structure and design of Bulb tubular-turbine generator, the paper illustrates how to decompose the design by using ISM and how to recompose the design for analysis tasks.2. As there are many kinds of analyses in a FEM analyze system and each analysis can be divided to many processes, the component planning must study the relationships between analyses and processes. The paper discussed those relationships and finished the components with APDL.3. In order to meet the need of a developing enterprise, the paper also discussed the expansion and the management of a FEM analyze system.4. The UI of the system is also very important, the paper studies the UI methods for a FEM analyze system, uses section drawings to guide the users. At the end,the author gives an example to explain the workflow of the system.
