Study On The Reusing Of Waste Materials In Landscape

With attention to the ecological environment, people in various disciplines and sectors are actively explore the reusing of waste materials. Waste materials reusing in the landscape is good for the conservation of resources, but can also reduce pollution and have instructive meanings, while waste materials reusing in the landscape may also promote the development of landscape subjects, which makes the material varieties more rich, can also leave the site again spirit of place and memory space.This article discusses the life waste materials, construction waste materials, methods and examples of industrial waste materials and natural waste material reusing, the main advantage is the direct way to re-use and recycling. Direct reuse is relatively simple, economical; recycling process is through handling, processing before use.In the article also cited the classic cases about reusing of waste materials at home and abroad.We analysis case by case to summarize the principles and methods of waste material in landscape reusing. While till now research on waste material reusing is all about industrial wastes, the other kinds of site which waste material can be used is not discussed. At the final of the article, combining the Qinling National Botanical Gardens planning project, we discussed that in our landscape planning and design of the project, how to make full use of the site in less waste material.In the garden terrain, we can use waste tires to rebuild the steep slope, waste building materials can also be used in the construction for the skeleton of the mountain,which can be filled with planting soil and plants. In the garden roads, natural waste materials such as the branches of trees, construction waste materials such as abandoned brick, industrial waste materials such as steel. can be used to pave a road surface; waste building materials can be used as the primary path of the road; life waste materials such as waste tires, plastics, can be used to improve the asphalt pavement. In terms of landscape architecture, you can use wood materials, natural waste materials in the straw, timber, industrial waste material to be transformed. In terms of garden ornaments, all kinds of waste materials can be processed through art, after the transformation carried utilization; functional arrangement of services and facilities to be abandoned by the living materials, industrial transformation from waste materials. In terms of waterscape, l life waste wood, construction waste and other materials made of stone cage can be used to create the revetments. Landscaping cultivation, natural materials such as bark and other waste can be used as cover material, compost can also be used for landscaping.
