Gas-liquid two phase flow rates of wet gas can provide essential reference to monitor gas well and gas reservoir dynamic characteristic, but presently, there are still many technical problems to be solved in two phase flow metering. Because the two phase flow metering system based on computer has many disadvantages such as big bulk, high power, etc, a wet gas meter has been developed using digital signal processing technology and embedded technology. This device is small, portable, and power saving.The necessary task and the functional module of the secondary device were presented, after analyzing the overall design of the flow metering system. Afterwards the hardware circuit of the secondary device was analyzed and improved, every functional part of the software was realized by programming, and all of the functional modules were integrated. The system designed as follows: DMA controller in DSP was adopted to assist data acquisition, CPU processing and DMA data acquisition can work at the same time, so that the efficiency of the system was improved; USB embedded host system and FAT16 file system were designed, so that data acquired can stored in U disk as a file through USB interface, data mobile storage was realized; the interface and the software of LCD and keyboard were designed to make the man-machine interaction interface more friendly; Flash In System Programming and Boot Loader were researched to make the system running independently. System software adopted C language programming, and followed the principle of blocking programming, so that it is convenient to read, maintain, upgrade the software.This device realized the basic function such as A/D acquisition, USB mobile storage, man-machine interaction, running independently, etc, could be used conveniently. It tends to be applied widely, and provides a well resolving scheme for the application of two phase flow metering technology instead of experiment.
