The load distribution of locomotive wheels(axles)plays an essential role in the adherence of hauling capability and dynamic and brake performance for the high-speed and heavy-load locomotives.The secondary spring load test and adjustment test-rig for locomotive body and metro car body is a large-scale process device for solving the uneven problem of wheel load distribution.The secondary support device of the test-rig which is used in the absence of the crane is designed.Based on the status at home and abroad and the function requirement of the test-rig,the move method is designed after the analysis of different move program for the test-rig.According to the overall design of the test-rig,the design of the mobile independent secondary support device is accomplished after the comparison of two programs.In order to ensure the strength and stability,the finite element analysis of the key parts of the support device which is modeled in Pro/E are done in ANSYS.The results show that the design of the mobile independent secondary support device meets the needs of overall design of the test-rig.
