The Study On The Regional Eco-Environmental Issues Of Mineral Cities

Ever since the 20^st century, with developing and utilizing their resources, the environment of mineral cities has been destroyed seriously, and the relationship between human beings and nature becoming worse and worse. Following with it, some problems showed urgently, such as: environment pollution, water lacking, forest decreasing, desertification, soil erodion, species extinctions and so on. All these force people to take more attention to the environment problems around us to prevent distorying and polluting. The notions of sustainable development and the senses of greening and eco-system have been gradually accepting and spreading widely.The mineral city basically doing its urban construction based on exploiting local mineral resources. Within the limits of the regional environment and resource exploiting, they develop themselves copy the previous model "cultivating first, then life comes". By comparison, their main function district is single, meanwhile, basic construction is also backward. The facilities of the administration, environment protection and disaster prevention are imperfect. All the above elements have been limiting the mineral cities' development.The thesis takes Tongchuan, the major mineral city, in Shaanxi province for example, analizing its special problems of eco-environment on the base of the environment characteristics of the Northwest region. Researching the eco-environmental planning in the following aspects: urban eco-environmental layout and function separations, city industrial layout with its structure regulation, urban green system construction and also systematic construction on city project. Meanwhile, on the basis of the above achievement which have made, the universal development model will be proposed appropriating to the eco-environment program of Tongchuan. Finally, the author hopes that all these can be a reference to the ecological planning of mineral cities of Northwest in China, which featuring vulnerable environment and the similar environment with Tongchuan.
