The Study On Application Of Highway Network Planning Theory In ZHAOTONG City

Highway network planning is an important previous job of the highway network construction and it is an advantageous sustaining system as we are deciding to construct highways. Highway network planning is based on the scientific fact, analyses and simulates the practical traffic state of passenger transport and freight in the various regions, anatomizes the problem and its springhead existing in the developing highway construction, forecasts the development direction of society and economy and traffic demand, sets down reasonable layout scheme of highway network and construction scheduling in order to offer the decision-making basis for long-dated and later-day construction of the region highway. Though mathematics layout method has precise logic and normative program and is easy to operate, it often does not tight link with the practice, its embodiment is disjointedness between qualitative analysis and quantitative analysis. A lot of quantitative parameters in the practice can not been confirmed or reflected in the models. So it leads to the outcome that cannot accord with request of the decision-making people. But many layouts of the decision-making people in the practice often are short of rigorous mathematics ratiocination and empiricist has unilateralist quality, generally this method in not optimum. Accordingly, it is necessary to integrate the mathematical predominance with expertise so as to make the outcome more appropriate for the practice.This dissertation is based on the four phases method. Though the study on highway network planning method, forecast of population and economy, forecast method of traffic demand, rational development scope and layout of highway network planning, scheduling of the construction project etc and emphasize several questions that are as follows: (1) analyse excellence and shortcoming of various forecast methods in traffic demand (2) how to choose rational forecast model in highway network planning, coalescent the practical traffic demand instance of ZHAOTONG city and choose the rational forecast models. (3) utilize the VBA to program the traffic distribution and traffic assignment, predigest operation process and time, improve the efficiency of highway network planning. (4) the study on rational highway network development scope and layout (5) the study on scheduling of the construction project in highway network. Utilizng above research, this dissertation put forward the intending layout and construction scheme of highway network in ZHAOTONG city.
