The Study Of Implementation Of IEC 61850 Based On PowerPC Platform

The IEC 61850"communication networks and system in substations"is the first international standard on substation automation system. IEC 61850 specification represents the developing direction of the SAS communication architecture. The main works of this article are as follows: this thesis introduces and analyzes the background, characteristics and content of IEC 61850. This paper presents the object modeling approach according to IEC 61850. In addition, this thesis discusses the implementation of IEC 61850 to MMS. This paper presents subsystem's original model of a fault information processing system according to IEC 61850 and discusses the structure of key module. Finally this paper discusses the hardware platform and the implement of the subsystem.
