In this paper, we have studied the terminal effects of tandem embedded projectile, including the choosing of shaped charge, jet formation and penetrating of the target, the process of the projectile embedded to the target and experiment.First, we have made procedures according to jet-classical theory, through the analysis we gave out the situation of drug-cone-shaped hood shaped jet and the penetration .Then we used LS-DYNA to establish a mathematical model, we gave out the situation of the ball missing enclosures of shaped charge jet and penetration. Last, compare the calculation results of the two cavity liner charge, the ball missing enclosures of shaped charge is more suitable to be the of the precursory charge.After the precursory charge opening the hole on target, the embedded projectile as a series of after-class will be embedded to the hole firmly. We have used the finite element programmer of LS-DYNA to simulate the processes of the projectile embedded vertically and aslant. We have simulated the vertical direction in a two-dimensional model with three different initial velocity, the results demonstrate that the projectile can be embedded in the target well. We used 3D model about inclined embedded direction and the results prove to be well. The projectile can be embedded in the target firmly .Finally, the comparison between the simulated results and that of experiments' indicates that they are basically the same, the purpose of designing is carried out.
