Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor (PMSM) has the advantages of simple structure, credibility in running,small torque control, high efficiency and so on, so it is widely used in small capacity AC speed regulating system. Conventional PID control is the control method applied common, it has the advantages of simple principle, facility in implement, stabilization in performance and so on. However, PMSM is a multi-variable, nonlinear and strong coupling system, the conventional PID is easily subjected to the influence of motor parameter variation and load disturbance, so it is hard to obtain the satisfying control effect. So people try to use many kinds of intelligent control methods to control PMSM, for example, neural network, fuzzy control, artificial immune, and have gained satisfying control effect. The paper combines the intelligent control and PID control, mainly aims to research intelligent PID control from follow aspects.The artificial immune system is a system of strong parallel processing capacity, which is distributed, self-adapting, and self-organizing, the paper firstly combines the artificial immune feedback mechanism and conventional PID, implements the non-linear function of immune proportion controller by using fuzzy theory, to design the fuzzy immune PID controller. The controller parameters are vital to control effect, the paper use genetic algorithm to setting the related parameters of fuzzy immune PID controller.Secondly, based on the fuzzy control's advantage of translating the expert's experience to control strategy by imitating the human's mental manner, the paper takes speed error and speed aberration-variance as the input of fuzzy controller, uses the fuzzy control rule to modify the PID parameters online, so the fuzzy self-adapting PID controller has been designed.Finally, the paper establishes the simulation models of vector control driving system of PMSM , and applies the fuzzy immune PID controller and fuzzy self-adapting PID controller to it, to prove the validity of control methods. The simulation results show that with fuzzy immune PID control, quick response speed, strong immunity ability, and strong robustness can be achieved. With fuzzy self-adapting PID control,perfect speed adjustment performance can be achieved.
