On the basis of studding the characteristics of university planning at home and abroad, this research takes the comprehensive universities in Hebei as the research object, and construction index as a starting point, explores the reasonable building area per student of the main function partition by data analysis , theoretical derivation and the other methods.First of all, the paper makes a brief review for the development course of campus planning at home and abroad, probes into the university development trend and the problems of China and especially Hebei Province.
