Research On The Demonstration Of Wind Information On ENC

The development of shipping industry and the wide application of electronic information technology provided technical guarantee for the intellectualized development of shipping.ECDIS are the products of the combination of the computer information technology and the navigation practice.With the further consummation of ENC demonstration and information system,there will be the general trend that ECDIS will replace the paper nautical chart someday.On the other hand,the demonstration of wind information on ENC has not been realized yet.In this article,taking the ENC and the information system as the research background,the author has investigated the related international standards of the ENC demonstration and information system,and established a wind information database according to these standards.Moreover,the author has completed the database revision with the aid of Visual the C++ 6.0,which will provid the data foundation for the route intellectualization overall assessment in the future.There are five chapters in this paper.The first chapter is the introduction which introduces the present condition of ECDIS development and the related international standards,and proposes the main research content of this paper as well.The second chapter introduces the structure of S-57 data,the transformation of data type to structure,the record of structure,and meanwhile,illustrates the composition of ENC data and the ENC demonstration module syntagma in detail.In the third chapter,the author has made an analysis of the features of the wind demonstration on paper nautical chart,made the data simulation of wind,established the wind data model,and introduced design principles and the encoding methods of the wind model database.Furthermore,with the help of SQL the Server database platform, the author establishes the wind model database and the configuration of each table as well as the various links among them.As for the fourth chapter,the author introduces the ADO object structure model, applies the ADO to visit the database,and design and realize the programs of readin, correction and demonstration of the database.The fifth chapter summarizes this paper,and forecasts the what needs to be done in the following step of work.
