This thesis mainly presents the novel Electric Load Control System Based onμC/OS-ⅡReal-Time Operation System and GPRS Network, according to the rapid development of automatic meter reading technology, GPRS technology and embedded system technology in recent years. The system solves the problem that how to measure electric energy accurately and utilize electric energy rationally.Firstly, the development of load control technologies, embedded systems and GPRS network is introduced in this paper .Then it puts forward the design scheme based on the technical standards of the state and gives an argumentation on feasibility of this scheme. The paper focuses on the software design inμC/OS-ⅡReal-Time Operation System. After a brief introduction to the kernel ofμC/OS-Ⅱ, it expatiates the transplant ofμC/OS-Ⅱbased on ARM7. Furthermore the task of software is programmed by careful analysis terminal functional need, the priority of task is also arranged reasonablely. Afterwards, the driven software and user software is designed. Lastly, the terminal server software is programmed.The novel Electric Load Control System introduced in this paper succeeds in introducing the conception of research and develop environment that is convenient to expand the functions of this system. The system is based on the Advanced RISC Machines CPU andμC/OS-ⅡReal-Time Operation System. It is superiority for its various communications. The system can intercommunicate with server software though GPRS network, and Personal Digital Assistant by infrared interface.and the function of collect kinds of parameters of ammeters is available by RS485 bus.The design of this novel Electric Load Control System has the characteristic of high-stability and multi-function. Therefore, it is extensively applied in the area of Power market and Demand-Side Management.
