Research On Planning Of New Comprehensive Passenger Hub Of Zhengzhou

Passenger transport terminal (PTT) is the cross point of various transport modes and the place for the travelers to gather, disperse and transfer, so it is the key part of the city's passenger transport system. The PTT has very important functions of correcting various transport modes and guaranteeing the smooth transfer of the travelers. The reasonable of its planning, design, and construction are directly impact the cooperation among all modes of the passenger transport and their performance, and also impact the Integrated Passenger Transportation that the public transit being developed first, the convenience of resident trip and the level of people-oriented service.Zhengzhou, the core city in the Central Plain Urban Clusters, is also an important communications hub, which is important in linking up in all directions. The construction of Zhengzhou's Comprehensive Transport Hub should be one of the most important measures to advance the rise of central China and the realization of Central plains municipal group strategies. It also should be an important means to improve the transportation central position of Zhengzhou. And it is of great significance for the adjustment of Zhengzhou's city layout. This paper deals with the best quantity, scale and layout of transportation facilities in Zhengzhou's Comprehensive Transport Hub, and it rationally plans the comprehensive transportation system in this area. The research includes the following four aspects:This paper introduces the location advantage of Zhengzhou's Comprehensive Transport Hub, and analyzes the current condition of land use and road traffic in the hub area. Based on this, the function localization of Zhengzhou's Comprehensive Transport Hub is interpreted. Then, it analyzes the characteristic of passenger flow in Zhengzhou's Comprehensive Transport Hub and the basic thoughts on passenger demand forecast. After predicting the passengers flow in this hub, the result of sharing estimate of passenger flow in railway, highway and urban travel modal split is reached. The scope and layout of every facility in collecting and distributing system in Zhengzhou's Comprehensive Transport Hub is researched, and the scale of road passenger stations, general bus station, the taxi stops and social vehicle parking spaces are measured. Next, the paper has formulated general guidelines in layout planning of collecting and distributing system and three kinds of specific solution, with the characteristic of "allocating at different floors, vertical Interchange, divisional organization; public traffic priority and people oriented". At last, the paper researches the index systems of comprehensive evaluation in comprehensive transport hub by comparison and analysis, and uses Evaluation of Set Pair Analysis to make a comprehensive evaluation on layout planning of Zhengzhou's Comprehensive Transport Hub.
