| Clutch is the machine that links to the engine in the transmission system of the car. Its main function is cutting off and transmitting the motive power to ensure that the engine and the transmission system would link up peacefully when the car is started. When shifting the gears, the engine is separated from the transmission system in order to reduce the impact. When the load is large, it can be limited the maximum torque that the transmission system bears by the clutch. It prevents the components of the transmission system from damage for the sake of overload. Meanwhile, the vibration and the noise of the transmission system can be effectively reduced by the clutch as it avoid the rigid connection between the engine and the transmission. Therefore, the failure rate of the clutch is extremely high. The main failure is the difficulty to hang the gears because of the lack of pressure which leads to unusual wear, ablation and heavy power needed in the pedal.Diaphragm spring is the most important part in clutch. Its working pressure, footplate force and platen separating stroke of a clutch is related to diaphragm spring. So studying on mechanical properties of diaphragm spring does not only have theorical effect, but also brings great economic interests.There are mainly studies three aspects: first, the working principle and structure of clutch; second, mathematical model building and theoretical derivation; third, study the diaphragm spring change law of load-deformation properties, which is changing with the lever ratio and the thickness.First of all, analysing the development of clutch inner and abroad, and then putting forward the research content, the purpose and significance.Second, analysing working principle and structure of the clutch, and key parts and components of clutch in the work of the clutch, and then putting forward the influence of diaphragm spring on the technical parameters of clutch.Through analyzing and derivating of the mathematical model and load-deformation characteristic on the cluth, the theoretical basis of calculations is offered.By calculating the lever ratio and analyzing the effect of the thickness of the diaphragm spring on the load-deformation characteristic,putting forward an optimization solution,as well as, the direct to continue optimizing is curtained by the matlab stimulation of the change trend.Through theoretical calculations and finite element analysis,the state of stress about the diaphragm spring is checked.Finally, Summing-up report and expectation are proposed by the way of combing all the research results frontly and grasping the overall.Beginning from the practical application,standing on the height of mathematical modeling and computer technology , to find the clutch and optimization programs provide a proposed new ideas for the failure of clutch, and having important research and practical significance. |
