The research on automatic clutch is extremely important in the development of Automated Mechanical Transmission(AMT).There are some great difficulties in coordinate control of automatic clutch and its related components.The control quality of the AMT clutch transferring torque will affect the work performance of AMT and the ride comfort of AMT vehicle in the process of AMT clutch engagement and separation.In order to control the clutch transfer torque precisely,transfer torque model must be established release bearing as the input,transfer torque as the output.Deeply analyze the operation characteristics of the clutch components how to affect the transfer torque based on the generation mechanism of transfer torque.In the past study about clutch transfer torque,the nonlinear characteristic of the clutch plate and active always was ignored.The common way was to establish a mathematical model and treat torque as linear changing roughly.Along with the development of computer data processing ability,studying the mechanical problem of assembly by using numerical analysis methods are more and more mature.In this paper,multiple physical fields coupling analysis methods are used,which were verified by experiment.Here studied the load deformation characteristics of AMT clutch diaphragm spring,cushion spring and the coupling model of diaphragm spring with cushion spring.AMT clutch engagement process engagement pressure model was established at the same time.The synergy effects between the temperature field of AMT clutch engagement process and engagement pressure,contact area,contact stiffness were analyzed.The relevant physical parameters and the coupling relationships models of geometric parameters were set reasonably.A coupling calculation rule was formed.Dynamical torque model of AMT clutch engagement process was exported combine with AMT clutch engagement process force and torque under balance condition.The clutch dynamical transfer torque characteristics were studied on the basis of the dynamical torque model.First of all,the paper introduced the structure of the AMT and AMT clutch,analyzed the principle of friction torque,put forward the dynamical transmission torque change was mainly affected by the pressure change,also proposing load deformation properties of diaphragm spring and cushion spring are crucial for the job characteristics of active plate and driven plate.3D model and dynamical simulation model for contact of cushion spring were established.The dynamical engagement process of clutch was analyzed.The four stages of dynamical torque were put forward: eliminating clearance,cushion spring,diaphragm spring and locking phase.The relationships between load deformation characteristics,transmission torque of cushion spring and diaphragm spring was revealed.Then the heat transfer mode of clutch was analyzed.Thermal analysis boundary conditions of cushion spring and diaphragm were determined according to the situation of the clutch heating radiator.Then the coupling model temperature fields of the cushion spring and diaphragm spring were obtained.Research on how the temperature fields influence the transfer torque of transmission,the research of the clutch comprehensive performance experiment were verified in this paper,as well.
