With the development of the power industry, it's increasingly high demanded to keep the electrical equipment in power plants, electric substation and power transmission lines long-term safe operation. To prevent the occurrence of disastrous accidents, it is very necessary for electrical equipment and transmission lines to make state monitoring and fault diagnosis.Go with the rapid development of microelectronic technology and very large scale integration technology, embedded computer becomes more and more powerful and can replace traditional Industrial Control Computer completely. It is a small volume, low-power, high dependability system and very suitable for monitoring and analysis of electric power security.Under this background, the design of embedded computer system has been studied in detail in this thesis. Take the electric power security as the main goal and embedded computer design as the basis, the electromagnetic compatibility of embedded computer is lucubrated and ,a high dependability embedded system have successfully been developed (1 months continuously test ). On the research of software system, achieved the multiple guide mode of embedded computer, the transplant of embedded Linux, the amendment to bugs in Linux kernel drivers, and transplant of embedded graphical interface Qtopia, Finally completed the construction of the whole embedded computer platform.On the basis of the embedded computer platform, electric power security monitoring system is studied and developed:1)A kind of Conductor Galloping on Transmission Line monitor system based on embedded computer is designed ,it can analyze and watch the situation of Conductor Galloping on Transmission Line and send the alert signs to the monitoring center on the ground by GSM Wireless Module. The system is already in run in Jiangjin electric bureau; 2) this paper has designed a kind of industrial endoscopic instrument which had the functions of image and UV data acquisition, data compression and wireless transmission.,Finally, through simulation experiment, the result of study and the practicability of this system was validated.In the research of the Embedded Computer and its Applications in Electric Power Security, the main works of this paper are listed as follows:(1)Researched on the hardware design of embedded computer system, crosstalk, reflection and radiation of high frequency signal on PCB. After two times designing and improving, the main board of embedded computer system was successfully developed.(2)Researched on the work flow of bootloader. Developed the bootloader, ported uboot in AT91RM9200, corrected many bugs in uboot and added some new commands for NandFlash, IIC and SPI Eprom.(3)Ported the linux-2.4.27, corrected bugs in display driver and developed the I/O, A/D and RTC drivers. Ported USB camera driver and the kernel of embedded Linux can support with many kinds of USB cameras.(4)Researched on the embedded GUI system, and successfully ported Qtopia on AT91RM9200.Based on Qtopia GUI, multimedia functions were achieved on the embedded computer system. In this step, it is very easy for programmers to develop application software in monitoring and analysis of electric power security.(5)Researched on the evolution processes and monitoring methods of Conductor Galloping on Transmission Line, and successfully developed Conductor Galloping on Transmission Line monitor appliance. Through a great deal of statistical data analyze,the practicability of this system was validated.(6)For the demands of the power industry environment monitoring and diagnosis, after an in-depth study in technologies of ultraviolet discharge detection, image acquisition, image compression and embedded system, this paper has designed a kind of industrial endoscopic instrument which had the functions of image and UV data acquisition, data compression and wireless transmission.This system provided valuable data foundation and technical support for Monitoring for the Conditions of Transmission Line and power equipment.This paper has been actively exploring monitoring and analysis of electric power security., and has great practical significance for extension application of electric power security new technology...
