With the rapid development of economy and society in our country, the high-way construction also goes into a rapid developing term. However, under the condition of vehicle flow and load fast increasing, more and more problems appear in the road with traditional pavement material and construction technology, early damage happened in many of the constructed high way road .Especially in the southern rainy regions, the phenomena of road water logging and water damage are very outstanding. This not only obstructs the development of road construction but also effect the safety of people's life and properties. The improvement must be done in the road pavement design and construction. The porous asphalt concrete pavement is just cater to these requirement, it is a new pavement structure form and has many advantages such as reducing noise, porous character and improving anti-slide performance, it has been increasingly gaining attentions worldwide. For all that the study in this field started relatively late in our country, more studies must be done both in theory and in practices.According to the research status of asphalt concrete pavement in our country, this article studied the mixture ratio design and the construction technology of porous asphalt concrete pavement relying on the test and research section in of porous asphalt concrete pavement in Chongqing YuLin high way. First of all, the main points of construction technology of mixture ratio design has been analyzed and the result of target mixture ratio has been analyzed in order to determine the producing mixture ratio, the performance has also been tested. In the construction process of porous asphalt concrete pavement , the mixing and compaction of mixture are important, temperature controlling in this process is most important, all of these are specified in this article during the description of construction process. In addition, some beneficial exploration has also been conducted in the technology and requirements of construction quality controlling. The detail illustrating of raw material testing,asphalt mixture road performance testing and porous asphalt pavement testing have been also been made. Through the study of test road, the applicability and feasibility of the mixture ratio design proposed in this article have been verified.This article takes concrete engineering as research objects and the result has also been used to the engineering practices. After several years of practice testing, the pavement is in good condition. So we can say that the research of our study is successful. The research result can give a good reference to similar engineering.
