| Urban rail transit holds a significant position in the city transportation market. It plays an important role for the development of the city. Nowadays in the whole world, more and more large cities have already built up the urban rail transit system, which makes a great deal of new structure, new material and new craft widely used and developed in the design and manufacture of facilities for urban rail transit.As to the traditional bogie, the articulated bogie does not make a great difference in the struction. So it still belongs to the kind of the traditional bogie. But the working position of the articulated bogie which is located at the connection joint between two vehicles differs from the traditional bogie. Because of this particularity, articulated bogies have both advantages and disadvantages. Abroad, articulated bogies have been widely used in the high-speed railway, the urban rail transit and the freight transportation railway. In our country, vehicles with articulated bogies were less to use in the urban rail transit. So this paper makes research on the application of the articulated bogie in the urban rail transit, which aims at the feasibility that the articulated bogie can be used in the urban rail transit.The paper introduced the development of the urban rail transit in our country at first. Then it made out the characteristics of the articulated bogie and its pros and cons for the urban rail transit. Meanwhile, it showed the application situation of articulated bogies abroad. Secondly, principles of choosing the main technical parameter of urban railcar were analyzed and the main technological scheme of the articulated bogie for urban railcar was confirmed. On this basis, the structure scheme of the articulated bogie was designed by consulting articulated bogies in foreign countries in order to carry on the analysis of dynamic performance. At the end of the paper, wheelset, framework and car body were made strength analysis. Dynamic equations of them were provided and dynamic emulation model was set up by the SIMPACK. Then the main parameters of the bogie were optimized so as to get the best combination of the stability, comfort and curving performances. After that, the dynamic performance of 5-unit was analysed by those parameters and was compared with that of the traditional vechile.Conclusion that the articulated bogie can be used in the urban railcar was made at last. The application of articulated bogies does good to improve the dynamic performance of trains, especially in the horizontal comfort and reducing the wheel load when passing the transition curve. In the initial stage of the great construction of urban rail transit system in our country, developing articulated bogies for urban rail with our own intellectual property rights through fully utilizing foreign successful experience and combining the actual circumstance of urban railcar development in our country has very important meanings for driving the development of traffic transportaion facilities, improving the urban traffic jam state and protecting the environment. Research in this paper provides some theory for the development of the articulated bogie in our country for the future. |
