As a kind of originality and the means of solving problem, bionics plays an important role in perfecting the function of products and enriching the meaning of products during the product design. Therefore, while producing design, the design often pay attention to the rich and colorful nature consciously or unconsciously, in order to attain the inspiration of design and the answer of the question. However, due to the diversity of the object and the target of bionics as well as the complexity and the uncertainty of the bionic process, we don't form a method and process which can apply to all the bionic product design until today. The bionic methods, which lack the rational guidance and just depend on the pure sensibility as the sudden realization and inspiration, make the bionic design into a kind of metaphysics that everyone long for but can't receive. The purpose of this paper bases on solving the above problems and founding a scientific and rational method and process which can apply to all the bionic product design. The text innovatively introduces the notion of Semeiology to bionic design. Recurring to the sign, we can link the world of products to the nature, which are the two biggest fields in the world, then start to design the original products by the means of replacing signs. It is a difficult point in this paper to find out how to establish the thinking relation between the natural things and the artificial things by the method of the functional semantic conjunction, and reasonably describe the functional meaning of natural creature and product. It is also one feature of this paper, which different from all of the previous research about bionic thought and methods.
