| With the development of technology,intelligent appliances have gradually developed.However,the increasing number of functions are attached to home appliances,which also brings more challenges to users’ cognition and operation.In the process of turning to high-tech and intelligent,many appliances have not presented them harmoniously.Consumers cannot understand swimmingly and know how to use the product,resulting in inefficiency,misuse.From the perspective of semantics,the solution to the design problem of that is to convey the scientific and technological information of intelligent appliances by strengthening the semantic communication between the human and user interfaces,meeting the emotional needs of users.It will be easy to understand and easy to use.Product semantics aims to convey the meanings through elements such as the shape of the product,allowing the user to understand and grasp the information conveyed by the product,while avoiding operational communication errors.This paper applies this theory to let the user interface of intelligent appliances usable.Firstly,the paper studies the user needs of intelligent appliances.Based on the theoretical method of product semantics,it sorts out the semantic classification of intelligent appliance user interface,and summarizes the three levels of semantic communication;Secondly,it extends the product semantics framework of Krippendorf,analyzes and summarizes the semantic elements of the interface of intelligent appliances.Furthermore,through in-depth research and analysis of a large number of cases,a semantic design framework process and a communication-oriented semantic expression principle of intelligent appliance user interface are constructed.The principle of expression.Finally,taking a user interface design practice of intelligent lock as an example,the application of the semantic elements,semantic framework and semantic expression principles of the user interface is illustrated and verified. |
