The Pre-Evaluation For Architectural Function Programming Based On The SD Method

In the thirty years for reform and opening up policy, both Chinese economy and its Architecture industry are rapidly developed. With the continuous improvement of living standards, People do not only care whether the architectures could meet the needs of living but also focus on the architectures'Economical efficiency, environment and social effects. Therefore, In order to meet the increasing demand of people and ensure construction projects are in high-return investment, the building function and efficiency of space are greatly developed, Architectural Programming in China's construction field is paid more and more attention and rapidly developed.As a part of the construction project, the Architectural Programmig plays a role in linking general construction programme and building design. By exploring the method, means, process and key point of construction projects, it will get some quantative and qualitative conclusions, which can guide the building design in the next step of construction process, as a result, the general construction programme may be fulfilled in a most efficient way.In the Architectural Programming field, the method of Semantic Differential is a kind of way, which is easy to understand and widely used, and it is gradually accepted and applied to the pre-evaluation of planning projects so as to maximize the Economic effects and social effects.In this thesis, the author brings forward the pre-evaluation's meaning, positioning and operation procedure, etc, after doing research on the concept, process and application for Architectural Programming with a reference to a lot of literatures and information, as improves the Architectural Programming's overall framework, and he creatively applies the method of Semantic Differential to evaluate the function design of architecture project, which he is now involved, so as to provide instance for the application of SD method in pre-evaluation of Architectural Programming.This method does have some value for practical applications in construction programme, and I hope it can be helpful to the future research in this field.
