The Research On The Countryside Settlements Influenced By Social Structure In Southern Jiangsu Since Open Door Policy

The reasons for changing the physical form of countryside settlements arevarious. There is no suspicion that the transform of social structure is one of the mostimportant factors, because countryside settlements are the physical carriers of thesocial development. Much attention has been paid to the people in southern Jiangsusince open door policy, because they are far away form the poverty and achieve acommon prosperity. So in the paper, the countryside settlements in southern Jiangsusince open door policy will be selected to study.In this paper, the definition of social structure in "Scientific Materialism" writtenby the famous philosopher Mario Bungs is the basis of the analysis of the socialstructure which is divided into political, economic, cultural analysis of threesubsystems. Meanwhile, this paper is doing study in how the three factors influencethe changes of the countryside settlements physical form. To understand the changingsocial structure mechanism in southern Jiangsu, author reads some historical books,local records and other kinds of literature and gives the orientation and conclusionabout the changes of the countryside settlements in southern Jiangsu before open doorpolicy. Then, the author, by a variety of literature and field research, analyzes detaillythe changes of the countryside settlements physical form in southern Jiangsuinfluenced of social structure since open door policy. At last, on the base of theanalysis, author describes the changing mechanism of the countryside settlementsphysical form.In this paper, author summarise some issues of the countryside settlementschange since open door policy in the regional development perspective. Somesubjective and objective factors contributing to the issues will be found out.Meanwhile, author suggests some recommendations and provides a certain referenceto the economically backward areas for the development of countryside settlements.From the study of southern Jiangsu, it is the expansion and add of the economic,social development and the settlements form study in southern Jiangsu in this paper. Itwill give some reference to the study of the southern Jiangsu by the way of the crossinfiltrationthrough interdisciplinary research.
