Spatial Form Types And Characteristics Of Rural Settlements In Southern Jiangsu Based On Natural Geographical Environment Types

During the evolution and development of rural settlement space,the influence of regional environmental characteristics on material space is relatively stable.Therefore,this paper takes the type characteristics of natural geographical environment as the background element,selects “Southern Jiangsu” as the research scope,and surrounds different levels of rural settlement.Research on the type and shape of space: spatial structure types of rural settlements,density of streets and their spatial characteristics;distribution law and morphological characteristics of public space;group layout law and morphological characteristics,spatial order of residential planes and sections.The main part of the thesis is divided into three aspects: The first is to use the Space Syntax(Depthmap)software to quantitatively analyze the structure type of the rural settlement space structure under different natural geographical environments;to quantify the street density by ArcGIS software and study the street density The distribution law,and the plane and interface morphology of the street are summarized.The second is to sort out the topological structure types of the rural settlement public space,compare the actual distribution location with the accessibility of the space,and summarize the morphological relationship between the public space and the environment of the rural settlement.The third is to study the layout of groups in different types of rural settlements and their spatial relationship with the environment,and to summarize the combination pattern of buildings and their houses,the spatial order of residential planes and sections under the influence of different natural geographical environments.Finally,the types and morphological characteristics of different levels of material space in rural settlements in southern Jiangsu in different natural geographical environments are explored,in order to provide reasonable reference for planning and construction in the process of rural revitalization and improvement of rural settlements.
