After entering into the 21st century, the market product types and consumption demands have been changing continuously. With the sorts and types of products increasing rapidly, it needs less time to update the products, and the lead time was also cut down. Every corporation needs think over the problem that how to set the pace in the incandescent competition, and produce products with higher quality and lower cost, so as to meet the individual demands of clients.The cell production mode of lean production, which would be realized comparative easily, and adapts well to the alterative and diversifiable production, has made quite great progress in recent years; it is being applied well in many aspects, such as cosmetic making, slopwork tailor, manufacture machine and auto production, and the cell production has replaced the stream line mode.After consult references and deep investigation, the author consider the cell production as the generalist workers participate in the production and management, work together and use the simple machine to accomplish a series art factitious production mode which adapt to multi-variety small batch. The optimal state of the cell production is the process of a worker made a production in a workspace. Due to the reduction of single work cost and avoidance the immoderate rigidity of mass production, the cell production could be seasoned well with the market demands which have a feature of multi-variety, small batch and short lead time.H is a notebook computer battery assembly manufacturer and its orders belong to the type of multi-variety and small batch. H wants to promote the speed of responding to the change of market. After investigation, it finds out that its order forms range a lot. The laptop batteries, which are small and light, produced all by workers using mini type machine and manual assembled except part of the working procedure, accord with the precondition of cell production very well. Each working procedure of the former stream assembly line was not poise well, workers had too much leisure time, which is a big waste as to the production majored in manual work; while the cell production is just to exert the potential of workers, relies on the subjective motile ability of human beings, so as to makes men work more efficiently. Therefore, after carefully analysis and compare, it was determined to change 2 stream lines into cell lines, so as to improve the speed of responding to changes of the market. H corporation battery assembly line has 13 working procedure, the 4th working procedure spot welding need large machine, after carefully consideration, it was decided to adopt 1 person unit production mode from the 6th working procedure, that 8 units altogether. Dispose the worktable of each unit particularly, and take into account of the body engineering, to make each worker handle more fluency and harmonious. Besides, the 8 units adopt similar U-type disposal, and adopt buffer between the unit line and the stream line to ensure the continuity. And describe the reason that cell production system can adjust cells flexibly to make the products of short lead time in a higher priority.Besides, for the unit production mode is usually in the application phase, there still lack some quantificational methods to evaluate the production mode, and corporation may be in the estate that the both of the two modes are exist, taking which mode to produce, it is still based on experience at present. Therefore this paper allowed for the evaluation methods, and evaluated different production mode, adopt the most economy and appropriate mode to deal with produce.In this paper, synthetic evaluation method based upon AHP and fuzzy theory was introduced to carry out quantitative analysis of the choice of the production mode. Based on the opinion of the personnel who know the production circs best, we chose two aspects and three layers of the product and productive line, 15 factors altogether selected as the evaluation criterions, and set five comment grades. 13 factors about productive line are evaluated by 16 persons who know the production well. The degree of membership of the production factors are decided by the membership functions which compared with old data and proportions of different factors of every layer are decided by layer analysis method. Finally the unit production and the stream line mode synthetic evaluation would be gained.In summary, the following works are done in this paper: First of all, change an assembly line of H Company to cell-line, and improve the speed of responding to changes of the market; Secondly, using AHP fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method evaluate the production situation of the same orders in different production systems, and provide the basis for new orders to choose right production system.
