Vibration screeners are important screening facilities applied in various coal washeries. Linear vibration screener is the most widely used screening products, with advantages of dehydration, sculping, desliming and effective screening. With the increased mechanization of mining, the capacity requirements on the vibration screening machine are increasing, therefore, the research, design and manufacture of large-scale linear vibration screener has become an important subject. And now, compared with abroad level, there is a sizeable gap on service life and trouble-free running time of domestic large-scale linear vibration screener.This paper has combined a 27m2 large-scale linear vibration screener developed by Tangshan Coal Research Institute as the research subject. In view of proning to beam fracture and a relatively short operation life in domestic vibration screeners, from the perspective of dynamics and kinematics, the paper has done dynamic simulation study on the vibration screener. Firstly, the method of dynamics calculation by finite element analysis was studied, so was the vibration testing and digital signal processing technology. By the combining finite element analysis and experimental modal analysis to calculate their natural frequencies and mode shapes, the structure has been optimized to improve the original design. Secondly, by applying virtual prototyping technology, the digital modeling and assembly and process simulation of vibrating screener is realized, to test whether there was interference of structure, the system can work in accordance with the design requirements, the mapping of the screen at any moment of the displacement, velocity and acceleration curve has sublimated the dynamic simulation.By using the dynamic simulation methods for the research of large-scale linear vibrating screener, the study could provide an effective and reliable way for development of large-scale linear vibration screener in China, also could be a valuable reference to the study of other similar vibration machines.
