The traditional train brake technologies suffer from the train adhesion condition limit, when high speed, factor of adhesion between the wheeltrack drops, moreover the line situation and the weather situation influence the adhesion coefficient rather great, it is difficult to guarantee the highspeed train stopping in the stipulation stopping distance purely by adhesion brake, therefore it needs to develope the non-adhesive brake technology to improve the brake technology for high-speed train.The track brake method is first studied in the thesis. Basic concepts of electromagnetism track brake technology are introduced.Caculation method for designing the electromagnetism is also proposed.Permanent magnet brake technology is introduced in the last part of the chapter.Eddy current braking technology is studied.It is recommended that the linear eddy current brake device is most suitable for designing the bogie of CW-200 when considering all kinds of its technology index and appliction condition. The design scheme of eddy current brake device is also presented.Two brake devices for CW-200 are designed.The power supply for brake system is also designed to keep the brake system work in gear all the time.Conclusions and future work are given in the final.
