As the development of economy, more and more scarcity of land resources causes the widely application of the high-rise buildings in the constructions of modern city. With increasing height of building, the mechanics characteristic of structure controlled by vertical lateral force gradually became that lateral controlled by force. As a structural system frequently used in high-rise buildings, Frame-tube Structure was induced in excessive drifts because of the deficiency of the transversal stiffness under the lateral forces. Utilizing axial tension and compress in external frame columns, Frame-Core Wall Structure with transversal strengthened story could be improved in integral lateral rigidity, and the displacement of the structure was reduced. The analysis in this paper was focused on the side displacement of transversal static load, element's stiffness matching, optimized design in Frame-Core Wall Structure with several strengthened stories. This paper sets forth the mechanism and static analysis theory of strengthened story, in high-rise Frame-Core Wall Structure, as well as analytic model, calculation method of sideway in the sub-structure with strengthened story applied in the top of the structure.Then the superposition method was introduced in sideway analysis to decompose the structure with several strengthened stories into several corresponding sub-structures discussed above. The influence of the confined effect of upper structure was taken into account to improve and modify the superposition. After that, an example, simplified Frame-Core Wall Structure with different number, say 0~4, of strengthened stories, was given to show the calculation of sideway, then the analysis of the results was followed.This paper incorporated an example to analysis the influences of the variation of stiffness of the strengthened story, the floor beam and the frame columns in lateral displacement of the structure. According to that, this paper also discussed the regularity of setting strengthened story and the range of the selection of the component's stiffness, and made a conclusion referred to the concept, methodology, principle of the optimized design of the structure.
